I have this strange problem. Today decide to burn a DVD I followed all the instruction then hit BURN it took roughly 30 minutes while it is bearing suddenly the disk was ejected from the drive and a sign came on the computer screen showing letter R it means error. The file is not so big I was doing this for test, but it seems to that I was unable to create a DVD I am very sure there is some problem somewhere could anybody help or dose anybody run into this before.
Thank to everyone.

Warning triangle with exclamation mark with letter "R"

Check out the disc that you put in the DVD drive. It is probably a CD and not a DVD that you put in.

This happened to me once. I put the CD disc in the DVD by mistake and then started the burn process in Premiere Elements 2.0. But, Premiere Elements did not warn me of my mistake right away. I could see everything moving along through Encoding in the Burn DVD Progress dialog before the warning appeared and the DVD drive tray opened with no message other than the "R" warning.

Let us know if this is the problem.

From what you wrote, you are trying to use Premiere Elements burn your file to a DVD-VIDEO format using a CD disc. Cannot be done. For "burn to disc" in Premiere Elements, a DVD disc is required.

I repeat, you cannot burn to CD in Premiere Elements. You need to get yourself some DVD discs (DVD-R, DVD+R, or whatever DVD type that your DVD drive supports and that the player supports that you are going to use for viewing.

Keep in mind that for VCD (VIDEO-CD), you use a CD disc, and, for DVD-VIDEO (that plays on your TV), you use a DVD disc.

Did I understand all this correctly?
