Hi everyone
I need to find a png or an image of a airplane ticket or boarding pass that I could put the information like, names dates carrier etc. on it and include it in a collage photo so that it can be scanned for a cake decoration.
I have a great plalne that is taking off on the run way but the only image of a ticket is awful. this is for a 50th birthday surprize. Here is what I have so far; the names and dates are not in but the ticket looks bad. Suggestions really needed please. I was having trouble with the to and from and PSE5 wanted me to update it so I did and it moved it.

Hi Vesta,
I think it looks really good the way it is. Maybe the ticket could be faded a little more, but I'm not even sure I would do that.

Vesta,
I think it looks good. Although for a cake, not sure how it would show up using the ticket like that with an overlay. I wonder how it would do, to make the ticket more "real" and off the the side, or bottom of the plane.

Thanks Carol and Michelle,
I still have some information to add to the ticket. I found a kit for travel in Las Vegas for about $6 to download it has a little of everything but since this is a guy thing I wasn't sure about that. I am concerned about the ticket also. It is for my niece and she helps in the bakery so I could make 2 pictures with the ticket differnet and see which one scans better.
Thanks for the quick reply

Do post the 2 photos and show us the cake. I am curious as to how it will turn out.

I managed to find a boarding pass that I am pleased with also found another plane picture. The one picture American Airlines plane had no clouds in the sky so I put some in. Please be tough here which one of the three do you like. The other plane seems to be pixilated. Also what about the opacity of the boarding passes?

Hi Vesta,
Thanks for letting us "play" with your creation here. It's looking really good!
I like the 3rd one of the AA plane with the clouds you added. One thing both boarding passes have the same seat #, even though the names on the tickets are different. And I would move the tickets down just a bit.
I still want to see how the cake people "print" the icing. Back when i decorated cakes on the side, mine was the old fashioned wilton method.

Oh no Michelle it is me who is so glad you want to play with this; I really appreciate the opinions and thanks for catchng the seat # I'll change that and move make the tickets a little smaller and move them down.
About the icing, they scan the picture and then they print it out on this icing coated paper sort of thing and it is just as edible as the rest of the icing. Of course they decorate the rest of the cake and also around the picture. I will take a picture of the cake and post it for you after the big event.
Thanks again
