Thanks everyone. I really enjoyed making that - it's nice to be able to use more than one graphic on a card. I'm going to try my hand at another because it was so much fun to achieve exactly what I was trying to achieve.
I think I'm getting a good grasp on Elements. I find, when I'm stuck, that I can now usually figure out what I'm doing wrong. That's the first step in learning new things.
Elements is an awesome program. My favorite thing about it is the ability to pull colors from photos or graphics to use as frames, etc. That is something that used to be "hit or miss" for me.
And then there are bevels, and shadows, and textures, and ...
