Text box in PSE5

This would solve a lot of my problems. Its in this tutorial. http://www.creatingkeepsakes.com/scrapbookfun/category.ihtml?idx=286
But it doesnt say where you find this tool. Do you just use the selection tool and the type stays inside?

Step 2: Select the Horizontal Type tool. Click and drag a text box to create a journaling area next to the first small photo


In other words, use the Text tool, click, hold and drag to create a box. This box is the text box the author refers to.
