Three ways to see a picture when working on a mask,
(see below picture),
http://hjem.get2net.dk/b_pedersen/tut/5738_LocateMask.jpg
1: Red and Blue: Get the best out from the two methods below,
2: Normal: We see the details but less painting.
3: Black and white (Alt+Click the mask):
We see the painting but no details.
While playing with the PET, "A Quick Cleanup for Portraits" By Dave Huss,
I got a new idea. Instead of just using a paint brush on a mask with
picture A and B, I wanted to locate what I was painting. The solution
is simple, just create two layers, one with red "55 locate B", and
one with blue "55 locate A" (both layers has opacity 55% and normal
blend mode). So where I'm painting the mask with black, I got
details from below picture A (of cause), but I was able to see
it as blue (seems like painting with blue :D ).
Pls ignore the two top layers (is another thing).
The other two exstra layers maybe isn't needed, but it's
about quantity and quality. e.g. one layer with red (80%
and mode=overlay). When that layer was on, I could locate
the quantity of saturation that was painted.
The other layer is also red (60% and mode=Saturation). When
that layer was on, I could locate the borders and therby see
the quality of my painting...
