I am having a problem keeping photos in the order in which I moved them within a collection. I created the collection from photos from various cameras and different times, and then moved them around into the order I wish to see them on a CD. However, when I create the CD, suuposedly with the photos in the proper order - the CD is created with the photos still unarranged and still in the original order. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I'll have a go at this:
When you "arrange" photos in Organizer, you are not physically moving files. Organizer just writes some links that show the order of the images. Since this data is not recorded with the images nor makes any sense to other programs, they appear "out of order" outside of Elements.

Most programs use the file name to show the order of photos. You can easily use the Export feature to copy the images to a new folder. You will have the option of selecting a new base name and Organizer will rename the files in the sequence of the collection. You can then burn this folder (or its contents) to a CD. I just use the XP software and move the folder to the CD icon.

Another option would be to turn the collection into a slide show and copy the slide show to a CD. If the people receiving the CD need the individual images for some reason, this may not be the best option.
