Help: How do i clone on a Mac

Just bought the adobe photoshop elements 4.0 for the mac.....but I'm having trouble using the clone stamp tool. whenever i go to use it, it says i cant as i havent defined the area, and to 'option-click' to do this.

Could someone please tell me how to do this.

Hi ...

... and welcome to the forum :)

Before you can use the clone tool you need to tell Elements where you want to clone from ... just use your cursor to choose the spot and then hold down the Option Key and Click. That defines the clone point ...

Now simply move to the area you want to clone into and clone :)
