Welcome to the Forum-You'll just love it here!!!
I would start by purchasing Jodi's Frye's new CD for Elements 5 (Jodi's Album Supplies) I just bought it and it is fantastic. Excellent Frames and Backgrounds. I think it's a "Must Have" (love it). Directions are included on how to install. Just click on a post from Jodi Frye and send her a PM. There are lots of sites for free font downloads. For starters you can try: http://www.dafont.com If you are using windows-After you download the fonts you like to your desktop, you then need to go to the control panel and install them in your font's folder, they will then be available to use in PSE 5

Type in "fonts" in any search engine and you'll be directed to both free and pay font sites. Follow their directions for installing your fonts.
After a font is installed, the next time you open PE, it will automatically find the new font and it will be one of your choices. In fact, every program that uses fonts will find it and have it for your use.
As far as borders go? What kind of borders are you looking for?
You can make your own borders from any scrapbook paper you have - merely open the paper and then put a photo on top of it - size the photo until you like what you see - and merge the layers.
I like to add bevels to my borders - so they look like real frames.
But if you have a specific type of border in mind, search for that, too. You will be directed to both pay and free digital scrapbooking sites.

Hi LadyDiver,
There are a lot of past threads where members have listed their favorite fonts and where to get them. The search function on the forum isn't the greatest, so try this tip.
This tip has been posted before, but is worth repeating. Use www.Google.com (http://www.Google.com) to search the forum.
After getting to the Google site, click on Advanced Search. Across from "Domain" type this site's URL in the input box, that is: http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum
Then in the Find Results field, type in the key word(s) for what you're seeking in one of the input boxes.
Once you click the Google Search button, you'll get a list of threads on this forum containing your key words.
