Ah, Valdez! I spent many a day there when driving the old tour bus! What a fun little town!

Good fishing, too. But that was summer...:D

Breathtaking photo Chuck. Most of out snow melted away the past few days. Sunny and 66 here today, heat wave. Back to the 40's tomorrow and rain. Back to the 30's and snow by the weekend:(

Hi Chuck,
Just comparing notes: we had a high of 84 today and a low of 63 last night... I hope you are not getting too cold up there!

I spent a night camping near Valdez back in the 1970's. I remember some beautiful scenery. It's the same as a Fjiord. Enjoy.

Gorgeous photo Chuck. Wish I were there. However, it is in the 70s and sunny in GA.

FWIW, I see Chuck's image just fine -- both in the OP and in the quoted part of Fernan's post #14.

Chuck,
Stay warm. I'm sure you packed your long-handles....:) Frostbite and hypothermia are always problems in wintry climates. BTW your photos are awesome.
