Hopefully this isn't against the "rules" to post a website. The NPCA (National Parks and Conservation Association) of which I am a member has a flash video (5 min long) concerning the United States' National Parks. Some spectacular photography. You will need Flash 8 to watch it.

Wow some incredible scenes. I am getting ready to plan a trip to a park for photography this summer and that sure gives me some ideas.

A very nice presentation. Great message. Patti and I worked at Devil's Tower National Monument in Northeastern Wyoming for two summers as Volunteers-in-the Park (VIP's) for the National Park Service. The underlying principle of the Park Service is "Provide, Preserve, and Protect."
Those two summers were magnificent.:)

My wife and I would love to retire and do the volunteer work (or paying jobs for the concessionairs) at National Parks throughout the country. A way to continue doing stuff and being in great places.

Contact the National Park Service. Also there is a paper "Workamper News" that describes all sorts of jobs that can be done all over the country; maybe even in Canada. Very flexible. Once one starts looking you'll be amazed at what's out there.
