I need help with the brushes

I must of changed something without knowing. Now when I use my paint brushes I do not get the circle, I get the cross. How do I change it back to the circles???
Also, when I use the Marquee tools once I make the circle I can let go of the Alt key and than move the circle to where I want it and for some reason I can't do that either. Am I forgetting to do something?

The brushes will show as crosses if caps lock is on. Could that be it? I'm not sure about the marquee issue, but I'm sure an expert will come along to guide you...

I'm sure Julie is right about the caps lock.

As far as the moving a selection goes, you have to hold down the spacebar before you let go of the mouse to drag it into position.:)

Hi ...

To be able to move things with the marquee it has to be set to "New Selection" ... thats top of the page the first box. It doesn't work if its set to any of the others :)
