The February Photos

Hi Everyone-

Last month I posted a web gallery showcasing the photography of some of our middle school students. The February entries in our contest are now on display. The theme for February was Buildings & Architecture.

Thanks, everyone. It's always fun each month to see who will enter. So far, there's always been at least one new kid I don't know who enters. It's always enjoyable to see a tentative face come in my room and say,

"Um..are you, um...Mr. Rodriguez? Could I, um, like, get the rules for the Photo Contest?"

Just wanted to update you on the winner, as voted by a handful of teachers. February's winner was the image of the Deception Pass Bridge, by Mark. A close second was the image of Shadows on the EMP by Emma (the November winner).

Currently, I've received six entries for March, which is more than I've ever recieved this early in a month. And, all of them are from people who have never entered, so this could be a big month for entries!

Stay tuned, and watch for the March images sometime early in April...
