Hi - just back from our Seattle trip. Waiting for the phone to ring and terrified - it will be to let me know whether I will have chemo or not. This morning my new CS2 arrived. I want to install but am not in the best frame of mind. Can someone help me out. Would I uninstall the trial version first? Then do I just put the CD in and go from there. I still have PSE 5 and will use that organizer for my photos for now. Too stressed to learn anything new. I am very very tired these days. I just thought it might be better to install before I go in the hospital on 13th and have it ready for my return two weeks later - if I can sit at a computer chair.
Thanks anyone. I will update what the doctor says on my other thread when I know.

Shari,
Yes, uninstall the trial first then just put the disk in and take it from there. It's pretty straight forward.
Shari, I know your terrified. Chemo is no fun but it's not as harsh as it was 32 years ago. Meanwhile, install CS2 and start exploring.:)

Shari,

At one point, I have PSE 3, PSE 5, PS CS2, PS CS3, and LR installed in the same hard drive. They can co-exist within the same computer but try not to run them at the same time.

I didn't have the CS2 trial version, but I am pretty certain that if it is indeed necessary to uninstall the trial version before installing the retail version, the Adobe CS2 installer will prompt you to wipe the trial version out before letting you proceed.

With Aloha,
