M2T files not displaying in Sony Picture Motion Browser

I just got a Sony HDR-HC7 which came with Sony software program Picture Motion Browser. I've incounted a problem in displaying M2T files generated from PE 3 in Picture Motion Browse. Picture Motion Browse will not display these files as loadable files. M2T file generated by Sony caputer program will display in Picture Motion Browse and can be load into PE 3.
Does anyone know of reason why Adobe M2T are not the same as Sony M2T files?

I do not have the Sony camera nor Premiere Elements 3.0, but here goes my best guess at this......

Have you looked into the difference between AVCHD.m2t and HDV.m2t files as well as any related codec?

Does the Picture Motion Browser Software Help define the file type in the computer after using it for capture from the Sony? On the other side, what route and settings are you using in the 3.0 version for what you describe as Premiere Elements 3.0 generated .m2t?

Although they do not address your specific question about the Picture Motion Browser software, you may want to check out m2t at the Premiere Elements User to User Forum at http://www.adobe.com. Maybe ask your question there if necessary?
