Homework, themes and challenges?

Me again. I've noticed there are Themes, Challenges and Homework at this website. I know about Grant's Challenges-entered 212 & 213 but didn't know about the others. Can someone explain them to me, please, as I love having things to do with Elements.

Hi Hilma,

Welcome to the forum!:)

The themes, challenges, and homework are all optional ways that forum users can experiment and post their work. As you've probably seen since you posted in the Challenges & Contests section of the forum, these are usually posted once a week. It's a fun way to hone your elements skills, ask questions about techniques, and get comments from others.

Join in as many as you have time for, it's a great way to practice and have fun while doing it!:)

Welcome to the lower levels of the forum!! The challenges, homework and themes are all a lot of no-pressure fun ... hope to see you join in any or all of them.

The weekly theme is an excercise to get us to know our cameras a bit better and to get us used to looking for photos in everyday objects and activities. New themes are posted each Sunday morning and the only suggested 'rule' is that your photo be taken during the course of the upcoming week, rather than pulled from your photo archive.

Hope you'll join us in all of the activities down here.

The homework is not really homework. I guess I should have called it something different. :o It was meant to push everyone into trying something new.

Please feel free to join any of the weekly assignments. If you look at the older ones and want to post an image from those please do so. There is no time limit on learning. I just post a new one each week but the others are still there. :D

They are open to anyone. Hope to see you soon.
