I am switching from Windows to a Mac. My Mac is on order. I have PSE version 5 for windows. I called Adobe tonight and they told me if I trade my version 5 for the Mac version 4, I cannot later get version 5 for Mac ("if" Adobe does release a version 5 for Mac). So, I have decided to hold onto my PSE version 5 for Windows until (and I believe it will) Adobe releases version 5 for the Mac, and then I will trade it in.

Any ideas for a cheap way to get version 4 for Mac in the meantime? I know it comes with a Wacom tablet, but not sure I am going to buy one. I have never even clicked on Ebay, so I am not sure that is an option either.

Thanks guys, in advance, for any other ideas.

Do you have a tablet? Sometimes it's bundled with the Graphire:)

or was that just PSE3??

I got Adobe Elements 4 bundled with my Wacom Intuos Tablet, which I think was last May.

Yeah, I may just buy another tablet and give it a go. Thanks.

Marie,

Do you have children at home? You may qualify for educational pricing. Try http://www.academicsuperstore.com/

My husband is a high school teacher, so I would qualify and I have 2 kids at home. I went to the link. But it is still $69, I think. That would be the price of the upgrade if I went ahead right now and traded in my version 5. I want to avoid spending much on this, since I have dumped so much money already at Adobe.

I may just buy the Wacom again (I returned one earlier because some computer guys thought it may have caused one of my many malfunctioning computers of late to die).

Thanks for the link Ray!
