GROUP HUUUUUGGGGGGGG!!!!!! Sorry you were having a bad day! I had a bad week this week. My vehicle got a cracked head or blown head gasket or something and they wanted $5600 to fix it, and it has 142,000 miles on it. Not gonna pay to fix it. Sooo, I had to take the day off work yesterday to go buy a new-to-me vehicle. Not exactly what I had planned, and I am really dreading a car payment again, but the new vehicle sure is sweet! :)
Hope your day gets better!

Today I found this beautiful camellia at the nursery and brought it home with me. The pure white offset from the waxy deep green leaves calls to me. I want you to enjoy it, too. The orchards here in central California are white with almond blossoms from mid-February until the rains come. In the depth of coldness we see this as the promise of another beautiful season of flowers and fruit.
So here is a blossom for you to enjoy and hopefully make all of us look to the promise of a better day tomorrow.
George!! I can feel the warmth of the group included in this hug, so I'm in there!

Oh gosh everyone - thanks. I'm sitting here in tears so grateful for my firends all around the world. You all made me feel so much better.
Sometimes where I work is very difficult.( a ghetto-type high school) One of my former students had a tragedy and it really hit me hard. His 2 year old was in a freak car accident and was brain dead. They took all his organs to give life to other babies around the country. The funeral was today.
Thanks for the group hug and the flowers and the good wishes. I will be fine. Tomorrow is another day!!
Hugs back - Andie

Andie,
Oh, my...funerals for young children are so difficult. I can only imagine how you are grieving for the young life lost and his father. Life can be so very sad sometimes.
I hope that in the near future everyone who loved the child will be able to think about the future that other young children will have because the family decided to donate his organs. Their thoughtfulness is giving hope to others.
Take care,
NMarti

I'm really sorry to hear that. Children are so wonderful and to have to see one like that is just excrutiating. My prayers are coming your way too. 2007 really is starting off to be an awful year.

What a hard decision they had to make! and a generous one as well! I don't know if my daughter and her husband could have done it if Gregory had been pronounced brain dead. Their grief was so strong when he had meningitis and strokes.

Wow, it's nice to know something good came out of this terrible tragedy. May God be with the family that is grieving, and with the families that have renewed hope through the donation of the organs. Thanks for letting us know Andie.
