"There is a dreamer inside each and every one of us. A wild, unrestrained voice that coaxes and prods our practical and serious side to break out, travel and experience the image. We need to journey from the captive comforts of our every day lives and become the wild-eyed child and explorer we once were, eager to see and learn new things."
I hope you will enjoy some of my photos from travels - and add to them. Jean

This was taken in Addo Elephant park, South Africa.

In 2004 our son decided to get married in Fiji - what a wonderful island.

Our family - three adult children - went trekking in Nepal in 2000. That was very strenuous for the two seniors (my husband and myself), but what an accomplishment.

I haven't been to so many exotic locations, so I really appreciate seeing these images.

HERE (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/gallery/view_img.php?id=18003) is about the best I can offer.

thanks for comments. South Africa and Vietnam were taken with digital camera - the others with a Pentax SLR.
When my husband retired, we went trekking in Thailand. This is one of the villages where we spent the night. What wonderful, gentle people the Thai are.

The best place for Australian wildlife, IMHO, is Kangaroo Island, off the coast of South Australia. The frame was made from Australian wood compliments of Karen. I did no editing of the face - one of the best photos I have taken

Since retirement we are spending our childrens' inheritance on travel - oh well, they sometimes come with us as in Nepal.
Brindabella Valley, out of Canberra in Australia is one of those places that NEVER changes. My Utopia!!!

Russ, how do you and Karen get their photos so large ............ Jean, After I do what I do to my pictures [PSE and Jodi's frames] I resize them making the largest side 750 pixels.

FYI: I think that's really small, they come out of my camera 2272 x 1704 pixels.
