Creative Homework (week #6)

A reminder.... this is not really homework. (it is just called homework) These exercises are open to everyone. Hope to see lots of entries!

Well it is hump day again. This time we are going to go back, way back, back into time. When the only thing that existed were.... never mind. My brain got stuck on an old song.

EDIT: Changing The Directions.

open a new document
pick your gradient tool
pick the chrome gradient color
set difference on the tool bar on the top and pick the liner gradient
draw at least 6 lines until you like it.
then pick the radial gradient and make some small lines for the circles

all of this is done on the same layer. It can be the background layer that you started with.

Can't find the chrome either-Kimi??

It is in the default gradient, the 12th block, pale blue and sepia two-tone. If you click on the gradient bar to get to the gradient editor, the names appear there.

I originally didn't realize what the homework threads were about, so I'm late to the game! I still want to go back to the older "assignments" and play with those techniques. Here are my two-for the second one I did the gradients in reverse order to see if it made any difference.

it was fun, it just amazed me how the colors changed the way they did.It didn't seem to matter what the foreground and backgorund colors were to start with!

The chrome gradient in the the regular gradient part.In the first box of choices. I think its around 12th. It looks blue, and gold-ish.

Okay, I don't get it! How do you get such perfect circles and lines. I'm not an expert on gradients and each time I do a circle, everything just turns another color and then back and my circles aren't anything special. Is everyone just adding other things to the original lesson instructions?

After I did mine I followed John's instructions with filters & clipping groups....but it came out very different! It reminds me of a piece of modern stained glass....
