Shot this picture yesterday while out at the harbor. The piece of land you see sticking out into the ocean is Point Loma. of course I had to do a black and white conversion to it.

For Nikon fans out there, this was taken with a D50 and the Tamron 18-200mm lens. I put that lens on 4 days ago and it has yet to come and has already taken over 400 pictures.

Nice shot -- I'm very familar with Pt. Loma, born and raised in Ocean Beach and went to school at Pt. Loma High. I ride my bike around Pt. Loma quite a bit. The view from Pt. Loma is really beautiful, next time I ride to the Light House I hope the view is more clear to take some pictures.
