These are from the ice and snow storm we just had last weekend. Now they are saying we are going to experience another one Thursday. Goody-Goody.

Oh you lucky dog you! :D Keep it - please! We are supposed to have thunderstorms here and you're getting the northern part of the storm. Great photos though and I love the layout.

Meanwhile, here in Houston, it was a sunny day with temperatures in the 70's.....
Nice collage, Garry!

Alright Chuck, you don't have to rub it in. We just barely got our interstates open here in PA!
Hey, where id your cowboy hat go??? I love that picture!

Colleen, I may have to resurrect the hat, I suppose!
My gloating about the weather will be rewarded: heading for Anchorage on Sunday. It's not 75 there....

Much as I like photographs of snow, I'm SO glad we get very little!

Garry,
Love your "Winter Wonderland" - I have never seen that kind of snow and ice in person and never likely too :D

Looks like you have had your fair share as we have in Ohio. I'm ready for SPRING! I'm tired of being cold.
Your layout is very nice.

Lovely image, Garry. Sorry to hear that you'll be getting socked again.
I hope we have a meltdown this week from the snowstorm of a few weeks ago! At least, I hope, the glacier on my roof and the icebergs at the ends of the driveway will melt!

Loved the snow photos. We still have some on the ground but it is getting dirty. So we either need more to cover it or need it to melt. Having rain tomorrow so guess it will go away. Spring will be here soon the birds are singing in the AM. That's a sure sign.
Have a great day everyone!

Gary,
I spent two years in Ames back in the mid 1960's. I remember one of the winters were like what you photo'd. I also remember -25 F. I tried to ride a bike to class and the thing froze up. I had to stop and beg a ride from a friend. Chuckle. Wasn't as cold as the two winters I spent in interior Alaska a few years later.:D

Great photos. Where in Iowa are you? I'm in Fort Dodge and we've been well and truly snowbound. They even closed Wal-Mart!
