Kimi, I think that is the other way around but I know what you mean. I trash alot more than I post. Alot more. Maybe if you reduced the opacity of the layers except the flower it will not look so messy. But what do I know. I like it.

You have a lot of stuff in there. I like messing around with those.
Keep on playing, with the layers, opacity....and when you come back to it and it makes you smile...it's done!:D

I like it! There is one thing I would remove though and that is what almost looks to me like a linked necklace...kinda silvery on the lover right and part of the lower left. I really, really like what looks to me like celtic bars running through it. hmmmmm.....how do I explain them......They almost look like a 1/4 in bevel just running through the picture.....above what I am calling a necklace.

I like it. Maybe lower the opacity of the frame a little to let the inside show more. I can spend a lot of time playing and then just delete the whole thing and other times before I know I have something I like.

Thanks everyone for the comments. :) I will leave it until I come up with something else. It is so funny, some of the comments about different things to change were the only bits I liked. :eek: It just goes to show how we all look at things from a different perspective. :D

Kimi -- I think we all find ourselves starting a project and having in our minds-eye what we want it to look like when it's done. When it doesn't turn out exactly that way, then it's easy to be dissatisfied with it. And you are right, everyone will have different ideas of what they would change, because in their minds-eye they see a different finished product. The beauty of art is that the artist captures their own idea of how it should look, and it is up to us to be drawn into it, or not. It doesn't mean the artist did "wrong". It just lends to the reality that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder".

I find some aspects of this piece quite appealing... but I'm not sure what I would do with it. Which makes me laugh at myself. I like it... it's artistic. But I probably wouldn't have it hanging in my house. Still I enjoy looking at it. Make sense? It certainly has stirred some ideas for future projects for me.... so... thank you!!!!!:)
