Hi everyone

There have been several topics about font sites during the last few visits I have made to the forum. Because of this I am posting something which took my eye on the amazon.co.uk web site this evening.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Step-Step-Calligraphy-Photoshop-Thomson/dp/1904705545/
sr=8-1/qid=1172523033/ref=sr_1_1/203-1472605-3310362?ie=UTF8&s=books

It is a book . . Calligraphy with Photoshop priced at 2.50, I remember it being reviewed in the Photoshop Creative Magazine for January 07, issue 18 page 86, and at a considerably higher cost, for that price I thought it was worth mentioning . (and buying . . as I have!!):D

Regards
Terri:)

Terri, there are several FONT lovers on the forum and I'm sure they will be interested. I'm off to check out the website now. Thank you.

Hi Terri ...

I'm not sure how much of it will be Elements compatable as it looks like some of it may be exploring paths ... but it looks like it could be a great book :)

Michelle,

Try to resist the threads that have the word "font" in them... I know, I can say that but couldn't follow my own advice! :D

Hi Cmburnett, Wendy, kim_boo, msbrad, kroberts, and kimh

Hope you all enjoyed looking at the book on amazon.co.uk

I have no idea just how the ideas from the book work in Photshop as I have Elements 2, and it probably wont work in that either . . but have been looking again and have found it on the publishers web site . . where it has a several page pdf download.

May be it might explain things better about it?

Regards
Terri :)

Hi Terri ...

Some of that is doable in Elements but other parts of it are ... and it looks really good. :)

Michelle - Does making your own fonts count as "downloading?" I don't think so....:D

I'm thinking....don't encourage her. Well, I liken it to twisting my arm to drink a Cold Coors Light. Doesn't take much!!
Stay strong Michelle, they're all bookmarked!

I looked at the books on this site - there are a few interesting ones, and most of the info pages include PDFs of several pages of each one, near the bottom of the page. There are quite a few good tips there for all of us if you take the time to look.
