Congrats to the Editor's Choice's. Looks like they had a problem with the IOW as it still shows the old one but it is actually this one. Congrats remcmillan

Way to go Nancy on two Editor's Choice's

Edit, the IOW link is fixed now.

Congratulations for IOW, Remcmillan - beautiful!

Congrats also to the Editor's Choices - well deserved and a nice variety of examples chosen.

Nancy - two, good for you. Happy to see your bike race image included Byron - I love that particular shot!

Great job everyone!

for the kind comments. I am very pleased to have the Amaryllis selected as the IOW. I am a newcomer to the forum but an oldtimer to the photo hobby. Hope to share more images and comments down the road. Thanks again to all. Ralph

I agree. Great shots.

Remcmillan, I love the colors you captured in that macro. Nice work.

Lundana, very interesting layout! The border is very cool.

Benny, that's an amazing shot. How close were you, exactly?

joannas, your image is very surreal. Haunting, in a way. Great choice of color tone.

Nancy, amazing, as always. Did you select the rose and put it on black, or did you shoot it against black?

Byron, that one is my favorite of your bike shots. Glad to see one of the D80 shots make it!

Wow - I'm stunned! I actually posted the rose this morning. I'm very humbled. Thank you for the kind congrats. Everyone else's images are wonderful. The amaryllis is gorgeous and well deserving of IOW.

Mike - I made a very crude setup. I set up my tripod, then I took my laptop and draped it with black felt with the screen open and set it up on several books to raise it to height. Then I positioned the rose with the window light on it and used a piece of glossy photo paper to reflect in the shadows. I masked off the rose and did some level adjustments to really darken the background and that's about it.

Well done all the winners! Once again a lovely crop of varied images.

And thanks to Kim for realising that it had finally kicked into action again - I notice that there doesn't seem to be a post from the powers that be letting us know about the new choices.

Bayla, glad to have posted it again. PET hasn't posted the last three times since Chris. I posted the last one too and I believe it was Wendy who posted the one before that. Monday's and Tuesday are my days off and on Monday I do nothing but play with PSE and browse the forum and watch for the IOW to post. Tuesday's I spend doing the laundry and cleaning up the major messes my hubby and son have made while I am at work.:D  Oh and watching the forum in between everything.;)
