Hi-Def capture and editing

Hi. Recently purchased the Sony HDR HC3 1080i Hi-Def video camera. Video quality is amazing when plugged into my hi-def TV. Wondering about PE 3's ability to edit in this format. Haven't purchased PE 3 yet. Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks ATR. Seems we're stuck for the mean time until Adobe builds a more robust system to handle HD. I've just imported into Prem E3 and will now try and render a dvd. More to come.
