Finding security

My baby girl finds security in tucking her pointer fingers into the edges of her blanket. I only managed to capture one hand this time, but I'll keep trying. The warm light was from the table lamp and the doorwall dropped some daylight onto her hand.

What a precious photo and love the lighting. My daughter did the same thing. She loved the blanket so much that when she got older I offered to make it into a teddy bear so she wouldn't be so embarassed to sleep with it. She loved the idea until I had the pattern pinned on and the scissors were actually closing to make the first cut and she screamed at the top of her lungs and begged me not to cut it.:eek: It's now in a box at her apartment, safely tucked away.:rolleyes:

Nancy, that is a wonderful idea - I'll have to keep that in mind! The Japanese have such wonderful quality and soft blankets here. All of my kids want to get their "own" blankie! LOL
