I was having the Offline issue when connecting my camcorder. It was recognizing in Windows when I was using the trial version. After installing from the upgrade it wouldn't see my camcorder. It would say Offline. I figured it out. I turned the camcorder off and unplugged from the computer. Then I opened the program to import. If you click on the camcorder icon in the capture window and select capture settings, I changed the Capture Format to DV capture since that is my type of camcorder. Then I plugged in the camcorder while it was on and then it recognized it. Maybe that might be the problem for others. I am running Windows Vista Ultimate.
