mama and puppies (week 5) update

All you Milo and Dexter lovers check out the family photo in my gallery.
I've used some of the many techniques that I've picked up from all you talented forum friends, and of course the online learning areas!.. I love this place!

It took a while to get all three pooches attention , but in the end they look great ...

quillabee thanks for replying ... they are mugs only a daddy can love .. or are they?

michelle thanks for your reply ... it was fun using techniques I learned here.. the red background I got from one of Corey's techniques ... used the gradient tool set to noise, and then clicked the random button til i got some nice contrast .. then ctrl u and desaturated then on a layer above found a nice red and changed the blend mode to color I think.. anyway .. it's nice having these techniques to play with and enhance a photo

My wife just rolls her eyes at all the time I spend with this addiction. But, she has made it clear, "I want to see every Milo & Dexter update!"

Thanks for the kind comments about the pooch pics. Rusty I know that eye rolling thing myself, but it's funny as soon as someone wants a nice photo presentation who do they come to? :p

I think I lucked out with getting their attention because they were all napping when I came across the family scene pictured in my latest photo... I grabbed my camera and a squeaky toy and was able to get a few shots off while they were all trying to find the source of the squeak


anyway thanks again and I'll continue with the weekly updates ... the next one will likely feature the little ones with their new playmate TimTum the cat.

John, your fan base is growing !!!

My wife is in the hospital so I downloaded and printed the Family Picture. I took it in so she could see it. A smile would do her good!

Not only has every nurse on the floor seen it, she told me several from other stations have been appearing ... "Are you the lady with the puppy pictures?" -- "Oh, they are adorable." :D

Milo & Dexter have fans at Elmbrook Hospital (they think Mom is nice too)

Rusty I'm so sorry to hear that your wife is in the hospital. I am glad to know that Milo and Dexter have been able to cheer her up without ever actually meeting . Please send regards from both puppies and Mama. You'll be in our thoughts here and hope for your wife's speedy recovery... the next puppy photos will be posted by Thursday night or friday morning.
