I have another problem,

I have created about 6 short dvd's so far on my sony vx2100e they are roughly 12 mins each, no problems whatsoever ,apart from the dreaded "prem el has encountered a serious error" but so far i have not lost anything.

My biggest problem is, I shot a conference recently and am currently making a 4 disc boxset, each dvd is around 45 mins in lengh, so i have followed my usual procedures, but when i go to burn dvd, it renders fine, it compiles media fine, so after it doing this for around 1.5 hours it then goes to "burn" and then does nothing, so far i have left if for an extra hour and still no progress.

Things i have tried so far to resolve this,

i have a desktop pc, a laptop, with dvd writers, i have an external dvd writer and an external hard drive, i have tried all possible combinations to prove which part was an issue and i get the same freezing.

Now, I have creeated a new project file and taken over around 15 mins of the same video and it burns out no problem.

One thing i have noticed, when i rendered the workspace on the 15 mins, the green line was unbroken start to finnish, whilst in the 45 mins projects the green bits are broken and only appear at the transitions and titling?

Has anyone any ideas before i become a broken man

Cheers in advance

kenny

What happens if you "burn to folder", followed by burn folder to DVD with software that came with DVD drive?

Any stop markers in any of your project?

Have you seen this topic from http://www.adobe.com Premiere Elements User to User Forum?

Let us know if any of that helps.
