Emily just finished her lessons for this year and absolutely loves it. I wanted to do a two page spread for her. This is the first page. I used Jenny Binder's Winter Frost kit. Font is Jester.

Peg, nice page. Looks and sounds like she had a great time skiing with Dad. That sure is a popular kit, second time I have seen it used today.

Very nice-how old is your daughter? I was reading the journaling (first person) and it occurred to me (after how many years of scrapbooking:mad:) that it would be so cool to have the kids handwrite the bits and pieces. Then it could be scanned and put on the page. Wish I had thought of it sooner:rolleyes:...

Carol, that is a great idea.
Looks like Emily will be a great little skier!

Actually Carol, I'm the proud grandmother of Katie (6 months) and Emily (5 years-going on 13). The handwriting is a great idea. I will try to remember to use it. I don't think I could have gotten her to sit for that long. I will work on the second page today.

Could someone please tell how to get a photo into a message?
By the way, Peg, we are professional candy makers and have two stores. Right now a batch of caramel is cooking.

Let's see if I can do this. First you upload your image to pixentral.com
Then there is a link at the bottom for a forum. Copy the whole address and put it in your message and the picture appears. At least that is the way I remember it. If I'm wrong, someone will give you better directions.
PS-do you make chocolates, too?

Kimi answered on another thread-
You can go to http://www.pixentral.com/index.php
Do file, save for web and make your largest size around 700.
After you image is uploaded, look under your picture.. you will find 2 URL address boxes. Copy the one that says forum and then paste it into your post.
It is just a simple copy, paste.

Peg,
Really love the LOs. I've got that kit but haven't used it yet.....trouble is that we so rarely get any snow in the UK & I would really like to use some wintry pictures with it.
