Heya,
Anyone encountered this?
I am a video editor and long time Premiere Pro user. Where I currently work we do a lot of funeral photo montages. We really needed to have a second station to do these projects on and decided to try Elements 3 rather than spring for another full copy of Premiere Pro.
The big problem: resizing the scanned images on the timeline. Generally, we are working with images that are 2000-2500 wide by whatever. Pro can resize these without issue. Elements 3 does it fine as well UNTIL I scale it below 50%. Then all of a sudden it starts to "lag" as I scale it and its extremely difficult to make any fine (or coarse reallly!) adjustments because the response time is so slow.
I've read some other posts and tried moving my images off track 1 and some other tips but to no avail. My system is more than capable of handling this tasks... its a Pentium 4 3.4 (HT) 2 gigs of RAM.
If anyone knows what gives I'd be grateful.
Many thanks,
Jeff Schaap
