I am so very excited to have found this forum. I have been researching Photshop and Premier Elements and have found more information reading this forum for the last few hours than a whole week's worth of surfing other sites. I think I have viewed enough mini tutorials to decide that the bundled package is what I need.

I don't do trial versions because I'm disappointed when I find some features disabled. Before I take the plunge and purchase the Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements bundled package I'd like to ask a few questions.

One tut that I watched was for After Effects (which I not in my budget) but I think they were getting things from Photoshop and Premier Elements to use in After Effects.

1. I saw how the motion text overlay could be set to enter and stop wherever I want it on the screen. Can this also be done with graphics? For example, a ball rolling in from the left and stopping mid screen?

2. I want to use a heart graphic with a gold edge in which I can add a photograph inside the shape and have it sit at one spot on the screen and rotate, like a spinning top. Does that make sense? Can it be done? If so, where can I find a heart?

3. The tut also showed how to take a pic of a flag and animate into a waving flag to be used as a backdrop or overlay in After Effect. Can this be done by Photoshop and/or Premier?

Provided the Elements can do what I'm looking for, I'm sure I'll have more questions later. I've already started digitizing family photos to put on a DVD slideshow to watch on TV during my mother's 81st birthday gala.

Again, I'm so excited to have found you. If this isn't the correct forum to ask please direct me to the correct one. Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me.

Hi Cinde and welcome to the forum. I can't answer you questions other than that there are heart custom shapes in Elements the you could use or you coculd download others. I just wanted to welcome you and get your thread back up to the top so someone more knowledgable on Premiere can see it and help you.

Again welcome, like you stated in your post this is a great site for help with Elements.

Yes it can be done in Premiere Elements with a graphic.

If you go to http://www.adobe.com/digitalimag/ideagallery/
there are some samples including a video that has a moving graphic of a soccer ball at the beginning. You can control the placement and timing of the ball movement using the Premiere Elements function of Keyframing.
