Edited photos not showing up in organizer

I just recently started having this problem with the organizer: I edit a photo in editor, but when I am finished with it, and close the file, it does not appear in the organizer (as it always has in the past, in a stack). Have I accidently changed a setting or turned something off?

I had that bug a few times in organizer when saving files from editor - what I did was uncheck the 'save in organizer' box and then rechecked it. I haven't had that problems in a few weeks and it was occuring every few saves before -:confused:

I probably don't have any business taking a stab at this since I am as new as a newbie can get but... in the "Save As" dialog box there are two checkboxes. One says something like "Save in Organizer" and the other says something like "Save as version set with original". Maybe you unchecked one or the other...just a thought.

I suggest that in the Organizer workspace you do a File > Catalog > Recover

That does housekeeping on the Organizer catalog. Then also do look at the settings in the checkboxes as others have suggested.

Me too. I have noticed that it happens when I select my own file name rather than simply using the default. Wierd.

Thanks, Barb O. The recover command worked like a charm! I really appreciate your help, it was getting frustrating doing editing and then having to search the hard drive for my edited copies again.
