help--Can anybody else edit their own gallery?

Hello all,
I'm trying to edit my gallery-I would like to remove a pic I posted twice. But the only photos with that option underneath are the ones I posted yesterday. :roll:
Any suggestions?

I just tried mine and edited a caption. It worked ok for me. I didn't try to delete though.

I can't do that either--I know I just mention this but the only options I have below the pics (only the ones I posted yesterday) are to delete or make main page. If I click/pick a photo it just enlarges it to viewing size. If I right click on it, it gives lots of options, but nothing to do with the gallery.--Am I missing something?

I have the same options as well.
When I click on a photo and it enlarges I have to scroll beneath it to get the edit captions option. Have a look.

I added and deleted some images to my gallery today and it worked ok... The "Make Main" and "Delete" options show under all my images (except the main one of course).

Yesteday Or the day before the options were under all the photos like you say. I haven't tried posting anything new today--maybe I should & see what happens. I'm stumped. :?

There was a post about ptroblems once you go over a certain number of images... perhaps there is a bug on the site?

I have the same problem with one of my images in the Gallery (see the post below about "stuck images"). Hopefully when they come back from the meeting they're all at they can fix it.

Otherwise I'll just wait --till they come back from their meetings

I just edited my gallery photos this morning and didn't have any problems.
What I did was when the photos came up and they had "Main" and "Delete" under the image I then clicked on the image and it brought up another view which had the option to edit the photo. If you haven't tried it this way, then give it a try. Hope it works for you.

I'm new at all this, but just trying to help.

I understand what you are saying. The problem is most of my photos don't have the options under them. See one of my messages up above there is a piztral link to see what I see when I access my gallery.

Well, I guess now it's up to the "Techies" to fix, huh. Sorry I wasn't paying close attention to your pixentral post. I hope you get it solved soon.

Loved your gallery though! My Grandson would especially like those Jazz photos. He plays the trumpet.

Have him check out Chris Botti, Rick Braun & Greg Adams. They all have different styles but I think he might like them. They all play concerts (everywhere) but lots in southern Ca.

Tried again got--to page where it says "manage" delete, etc. the only pic it deleted was my "main" pic. When I went to select another pic to be my main pic I got this error:

Thats the message I got a few days ago ... I was trying to edit a caption. I tried it again a couple of minutes later and it worked just fine.

I got an error message when I tried you use speech marks in a caption... :shock: :?:

Didn't try any quotations marks. Just tried to select another photo for main. then I tried a few minutes later & it let me select one. But I still have to reupload the one photo it did let me delete. I just can't delete the one I want to.

Sherry: Don't worry it will get fixed Monday - I just checked mine and I can't delete or edit anything except the main. It's happened before and it corrected itself overnight. Maybe there are too many people looking at your gallery :wink:

Yes, the first image I uploaded hasn't got any options underneath it...I think there may be a bug or small glitch in the coding they need to work out.

Does the problem appear to be fixed now? I have made some changes... It appears there was a change on the server level that caused some verification (it checks to see who owns an image before displaying options) to not work. I'm hot on its tail though.

Great work on filling up your galleries--I hadn't been in a little while and it has really filled out nicely. Kudos!

I made a change to my gallery and it worked just fine. I had added a photo and changed my Main Photo to a different one.
