I'm getting my feet wet with Elements 3.0. I've done this sort of thing before in Paint but now can't remember how. I have a photo of a person wearing a T-shirt. The T-shirt has a rectangular graphic that I would like to cover with the shirt's background color. However, the background color is not solid but more like a texture. My results so far have been to cover the rectangular graphic with an obvious rectangle of solid color. How do I make this graphic look like it was never there?

Also, the work area in Elements seems small. Is there a way to review a larger representation of a photo being edited?

Thanks in advance.

You could use the clone tool to make the logo on the shirt disappear. Fine a clean area as your source that has the same colour, and slowly clone out the logo. Use the magnifying class to enlarge the area so you can see what you are working on.

You can also use Ctrl + or - to zoom in and out. :)
Or better yet the navigator. It took me almost a year to find that one.

Glad to help. The biggest hurdle is learning about the tools and what they can do..........once you figure all that out it all gets a little bit easier.
