My husband asked me to morph an elephant onto an Element. This is about the best I've come up with so far.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

April

Thank you! I don't think I've got what he had in mind yet though.

Hi April

That is a really good job of blending

Just wondering though if he was talking about an animation like this?

Hi Storm

I just found an Elephant and SUV online.

Made a base layer with background and shadow from the SUV picture.

Added an elephant then used transform for a few frames then liquify for a few more as I faded the elephant out and the SUV in.

Butch - that is fantastic. I had to go get my husband to come see. Did you do that in Elements? I didn't even know you could do things like that. Wow - nice job.

That is so neat, Butch! Is that using the animation process in "Save for Web" in PSE or did you use another program? How many frames in total?

Shari and Julie

I don’t want to hijack April’s thread but quickly I made the animation in Elements…below is the layer pallet.
Tutorials in animation for PE 3.0 say you can change the frame delay timing on each frame individually. I have not been able to do that and found I need to repeat frames to time. This makes files large so in this case I used ImageReady to set the timing.

He wasn't after annimation . . . but that is soooo cool!!!

What he's after is having it look like the Element was painted to look like an elephant. (You know how sometimes you see cars on the freeway with very elaborate paint jobs.)

Thanks!

Thank you Ellen, that looks like what I was looking for! :) I guess I need to thank Wendy also.

Now let's see if I can actually manage the technique effectively!

Thanks again!
