Jodi
Question regarding the textures. Can they be scaled once they are applied? I'm trying to show my daughter but this is totally escaping me if it can. Here is a quick 5 minute from photo to canvas to framed with the texture background and leaf photo changed to multiply.

Hi Jimmy Bob,
Not that I am aware of. However, there are a couple of threads here that post examples (different layouts) from this CD as testers of Jodi's latest .

The best I can offer to you, is to trust from all of us that own the first one, and from those who have purchased the new one. I am certain you will be most pleased. Jodi is a very talented lady and I am grateful she is sharing her talents with us.

Well I managed to muddle my way through PSE5 and used Jodi's CD to create a page for my other dog Rudy. I did some editing for practice - covered the original flower and moved two more back on, some burning to create the paw prints on the label, some embossing on the text and some color adjustment on the pocket to make it match the pants. Think that's it.

Thank you guys. It was a bit of a challenge figuring out how to do some things becasue 5 acts so different.

No Pauline I don't have it. My daughter bought it and wants me to learn it so I can teach her. I have her computer while she's visiting Travis before he leaves for Iraq. I bought Jodi's CD for her so I'm playing with it while she's gone.

Just arrived in the mail. Still cold but loaded it anyway - no problems - working great and so many possibilities (and I already started mixing the old missing styles with the new frames). Very cleverly done Jodi. Thank you so much - money in the mail once the latest winter storm stops and I can get to the bank :)

Tried one of my girlfriend and her hubby using one of Jodi's matted frames and background. Simple but the frame speaks for itself.

Thanks:)

Carol, yes it was created to be included in the new Artwork and Effects palette in Elements 5. The backgrounds are just jpegs but the frames are designed especially for the new Elements engine.

Thank you Jodi. Just recvd CD yesterday and didn't have much time to explore and work on them. I am very happy with all the different frames and backgrounds. I especially love the beach and ocean backgrounds. They are suitable for framing w/o adding anything to the them. I'm thinking about printing the background w/the sailboat and hanging in my nautical room. Thanks again sooo much. BTW, I upgraded from 4 to 5 just so I could get your CD and it was worth every penny.;)

Finally got to have a quick play and found just the Victorian style frame on the CD I was looking for to finish off a picture of my grandfather at age 14 in 1882. Took me a little while to figure out how to turn a landscape frame into a portrait one then it dawned on me - flip the image, frame it and then flip the whole thing back :o. Thanks Jodi.

Well I did scan the tips briefly and remembered a couple of important things (like how to get rid of the mat that I didn't want) but didn't remember the portrait landscape thing :o . Well maybe my subconscious did because it didn't take too long before I tried the layer rotate instead of trying to beat the frame into the right shape :D

Just reread them and added a few more things to remember next time.

Hey Jodi,
Not only did I READ the READ ME and the tips... I printed it ALL out to re-read with the highlighter. (becasuse I can screw anything up!)
Just finished using one of the backgrounds you provided for a Valentine for daughter and her boyfriend.
I will eventually get it posted.
I also utilized Wendy's tut and Kimi's font (of king and queen-forgot I had) in it.

Heck Jodi - I forgot the question.:D I went back and found it though. I guess what I'm asking is - your frames can be adjusted and scaled when they are applied. The textures, however, seem to apply with no options to adjust them like the regular textures (scale, depth, etc). I was just wondering if they could be adjusted or is WYSIWYG.
