I'm not very good at computer stuff. I downloaded virtual photographer and I don't know how to get it into where it's supposed to go. I think it's to go in the plug ins. I'm on a PC. The site said to go to program files...I don't know where that is. Thanks Brenda

I think I did it! Does anyone use this VP? Where in elements do I find them now?

Hi Brenda:

If you did it right C:\ProgramFiles\Adobe\Photoshop Elements Version X\Plugins\Filters. Just open up your filters gallery and You should find VP near the bottom.

I think I stopped at plugins, didn't do the filter step. I'll have to try again. Thanks

I put the whole folder into Plug-ins>filters and it works but you won't see Virtual Photographer at the bottom of the filters list - you'll see optikVerveLabs. Click there and you'll get to it.

I don't see it anywhere. I went back to the site to download it again and put it in plugins, got a message saying it already exists, but I don't see it anywhere. When I tried clicking on the plug ins while in my C drive it said it couldn't open. Something about not knowing the program.

According to their instructions, it's not to go in "filters", but back in the "plug-ins" file. I tried it both ways, and had success getting it to show up at the bottom of the list under the name stated above by listing it in PLUG-INS.

If you have it installed already, simply cut and paste it into "plug-ins" from you "edit" menu. The files will dim, letting you know they were "cut", then go to the correct file and click PASTE from the edit menu.

Note: You must right click on the zipped file and click "extract all" once you get it where you want it. Then you may choose to delete the zipped file...it is "unzipped" and ready for use.

Best of luck!
