Catalog Problems

Good day eeh:

I have been editing a bunch of previously edited photo's because I learned a bunch of new tricks. To get rid of the old .psd files I removed and deleted them from the catalog. Now I am missing several fixes from showing in the organizor. I assume it's because the names are the same as the old .psd files. does anyone know how I can get them back into the catalog?

It sounds like you may have overwritten the original file. If neither step below is your workflow, please post back and we'll see if we can help.

If you selected Also Delete From Hard Drive (ADFHD) when you deleted this from the catalog, then Image1 is totally gone (unless you have not deleted the Recycle Bin,you could check there).

If you only said Delete From Catalog (but not ADFHD), the image would then be on the hard drive. If you re-edited the image and saved with same file name, the recent changes overwrote the previous image and the previous changes are gone.

If you had saved to a different folder or file name, then the original Image1 might still be there. Do you have any backups perhaps?
