Janice, that squirrel has certainly stepped up from the world of raiding bird feeders...

Ah ! a mocha mouse ! No wait, that's a squirrel ...mocha mouse sounds better :)
Cute pic ! He's not fat tho so I doubt he does this often ! Or maybe you are the first person to not shoo him away ;)
Nice resort....I don't think there would have been anything left for him if i were there ! Skip the soup...just give me the mocha !

I was just sitting there after lunch enjoying the beautiful courtyard while DH and the other conference attendees went back to their stuffy room - and happened to see movement out of the corner of my eye.
I got some cuter photos of him - but I thought I'd hit you with the grossest one. LOL
I was so excited to get these shots - I got a half dozen good ones of his approach. I'm betting it wasn't the first dessert table he visited.
If you look close - I used the circular marquee to choose an area closest to the squirrel to lighten to call attention to him. This one was cropped to go on a birthday card I just made.

What a wonderful picture! Great catch getting that. We had a very similar thing happen - we were eating lunch at Busch Gardens and a peacock just hopped up on the table next to us and began helping himself. I had no clue peacocks would eat french fries. Of course, unlike you, my camera was tucked safely away in the bag during lunch. :D

Jo -
how do you like your Epson R800? Mine is only 18 months old and already the feeds are acting up. It hates certain kinds of shiny paper and envelopes - and just will not grab them.
Plus, I'm having trouble with the red - I can't clean it enough to make it perfect. The problem only shows when I try to print an entire background of red - then I get striping.
Have you tried printing on CD's? They turn out really slick.
I love the way it prints - but disappointed about these problems - so early in it's life.
My Canon i950 only lasted 18 months, too. I guess I'm hard on printers. But, hey, I'm ready for a large format printer anyway. LOL

Thanks, Kathy.
I started out creating my own greeting cards about 5 years ago - using a greeting card program and their graphics - then started using photos - and now - with PSE4 - I can do so much more in the way of "designing" - I loved moving from flat images and plain backgrounds into all Elements has to offer.
This year was my first scrapbooking Christmas card year. I designed all my greeting cards with PSE4 and then cut and pasted the graphic "postcard" I created - onto cardstock.
I can't believe how much fun Elements is. And I can't believe all I've learned in the last month hanging around with you guys.

Janice, I'm starting to think about replacing the R800. I can't seem to clean the heads -- don't remember which ones, but it's frustrating. And when I try to print black and white I usually get a reddish shadow. I think I'll go for a wider carriage printer this time so I can print bigger images. I really hate spending the money, though...

I'm on the same wave length - it's printing all right most of the time - and I don't print black and white - and I don't do alot of text pages so that's not an issue -but it's red that I'm having trouble with, too.
I wonder if it's a flaw in the R800 design.
If I replace this printer, I will go with a wide format printer - just because it exists. LOL - (and you never know what you might want to print in the future)
And, like you, the thought of spending the money while this printer functions - seems frivilous. But still...
