I am trying to install Grants Tools. They are in C:\unzipped\GrantsTools\Photoshop4.0
I cannot seem to install, or maybe I should say open, them into PSE 4. I really need detailed help please. Thank you.

I know that some of them don't work in 4-I'm sure someone who knows more will be right along-hang in there:)

First thing is did you download the PSE4 version ... ?
If you did then take a look here it shows you how to install the tools (the images are for PSE3 but it is the same in PSE4)

Hi, it's me again. When I unzipped the Grants Tools they went into C:\unzipped Grants Tools\photoshop 4. I have looked at the instructions on installing them, and it states that they will go into Preview\Effects Directory. How do I get them there and when it says, "six files to be erased", do they mean to delete them? I know what files they're speaking of so I'm okay with that, but I haven't heard of "erasing" files. I'm going crazy trying to do all of this. You know I'm not too good when it comes to filing and files. I just "hunt & peck". I hate to admit this! Thank you. Lois

Hi Lois ...
Just move the unzipped folder into Previews>Effects ...
You need to delete those 6 files ..

Hi Lois ...
Donlt worry about it ... the first time you try to install something like this is the hardest ... it does get easier :)

And don't worry about deleting the cache files-they are re-built as soon as you launch elements:)
Thanks Wendy-no more leaving for me!
