Jodi's cd question

I recieved the cd today. It said to put the Frames and such in
My Computer
Local disc C;
Documents and Settings
All Users
Application Data
Adobe
Photoshop Elements
5.0
Photo Creations
Artwork
>>Frames
I didn't have photo creations - artwork or frames folders. I tried creating them but it didn't work. Heck I couldn't even find the files she said to delete. Any help would be appreciated.

Those are hidden folders - to see them open Windows Explorer and click on Tools>Folder Options>View and check the box that says Show Hidden Files and Folders. Then you should be able to see them if you have PSE5

I checked and it was already checked.After 5.0 it just had editor and organizer folders

Thanks for the welcome to the forum Wendy. What i actually did was when I went to documents and setiings I went to mikecomputer instead of all users which still took me to 5.0 then stopped. I have been a member of the board since June. I read the forums but didn't post until now. You could not get a better bunch of people. My family is seeing some of the things I am doing with Jodie's cd and think I'm a genius. Well maybe not a genius.

Mike, I confess. I did the same thing you did!! It's my typical way of installing things and for this it just didn't work. Actually when I followed the instructions PROPERLY! Jodi's method is really much easier than the way I was doing it! :rolleyes: Once I did it I wondered how I went wrong in the first place........well that was because I didn't read carefully enough and wasn't feeling well the day I installed.
