Curious to see what Photoshop CS2 had to offer, I downloaded the trial version of it. When I opened it, I was surprised to see that the interface didn't look and flow as smoothly as PSE, in my opinion. Every tutorial for Photoshop that Ive seen has been done in Mac and it looks good in that platform. Is this what the PC version of it is supposed to look like?

you can make CS2 look like anything you want it to look like - dock palettes, rearrange and snap them together like Legos, create your own panel groups and expand or collapse them - - and then save the look you llike so you can always reset to it
You can do pretty much the same in PSE - check out some of my tutorials/videos for screenshots of how I like to work with it -
Google for PS tutorials - you'll find plenty that are using a Windows box ;) .

Thanks Grafi for responding, but the arrangement of the palettes is not was I was questioning. I'm sorry that i didn't clarify. I was more intrigued about the difference in appearance between the Mac and PC version, if that is the case. The Mac version of CS2 looks smoother and more 'up to date.' The PC version seems like it more out of date to me. How do you snap them together, by he way?

Graffi is so darn quick:) and right. Here's how I've set up on a pc (I have xp set to classic I don't like that teletubbies look in xp). One cool thing is that you can save a bunch of different work spaces as they call them for what ever you happen to need.

You're lucky to see all that - first time I used CS2 was on a local power users machine and when I opened it up I got this:
761
Scary - not a tool bar to be seen - he uses short cuts and likes to have as big an area for his image as possible. I'm not yet that confident :)
