Rotating an eraser brush?

Hi, have a question. When using the eraser, is there a way to rotate the brush, like there is when using the regular brush tool in "more options"?

I was thinking that an alternative would be to create a custom brush of the rotated version so it's directly available as an eraser brush also, but wondering if you can rotate an eraser brush 'on the fly' without doing that. I don't see any setting for it but thought I would ask? Thanks much ....

Hi Simone, I have pse 3 but I think in all versions the eraser doesn't rotate. You can of course just rotate the canvas or like you said make a new brush.

Instead of an eraser woould it work if you used a brush set on "clear" ? It works in 4 and 5. That way you can rotate it.

just rotate your layer... it's all the same.:)

Ellen, Christine, Kimi -- Thanks for the suggestions! Hadn't thought of rotating the layer, nor of using the 'clear' mode for a brush. I just tried brush on 'clear' in 5 and sure enough, it acts just like an eraser. I'm sure you guru's knew that but it was new for me. Thanks, another problem solved! :)
