Someone gave me a link to this funny picture site: link (http://www.i-am-bored.com/bored_link.cfm?link_id=21785)
I’m dying to try something like that my self, but have not a clue how to go about it. Maybe if there is some interest into this we could get one of the “big guys” ( I know you are reading the posts once in a while…) to give us a tutorial or pod cast on this. How about it??? :) Matt? Dave? Corey? anyone?

Those are very good! I'd love to learn how to do something like that.

I can't wait to see the response you get from this thread. Looks like displacement maps were used along w/a lot more brushes and tools.

Hi ...
To get an effect like that you rally have to be pretty good with Elements ... basically you take the head from one thing, the body from another and blend then together ..
... then you have to deal with things like matching the skin for colour, texture, pattern and lots more.

Nope. No tutorial request allowed.
:)
Of course you can. They are definitely some advanced tutorials and would take some time to do but I'll see if we can't help give you a start.
Thanks!

Thanks Matt! That would be so cool! If it is too advanced or too long for a weekly tutorial maybe it would fit into an advanced online class?
I was also wondering if it can be done with Elements or would you need Photoshop?

Hi Gerlinde ...
You will be able to do that effect in Elements or Photoshop :)
