Does anyone know how to outline a selection with a dotted or dashed line. I know how to outline selection but am trying to make a "bouncing ball" effect.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I know you can do it in full Photoshop as a layer style... Maybe I could save one and you could copy the layer style into your project. Let's try it.
Download the attached zip file, unzip it and open it in PSE. Then right clicp onn one of the layers and select copy layer style. Then in your document right click on your layer and select paste layer style.

Hi ...
I really don't know of an easy way to do this in Elements ... with Photoshop its very easy you just stroke the selection with a dotted brush but Elements doesn't have that facility.
If the edges of the selection are fairly straight then you could copy and paste it to its own layer and then use a brush and simple shift click from one place to the next ..

Phil: I know that works (in PSE5 at least) - I've done it before :)

You can just save it somewhere where you save your pictures like "My Pictures"
