Love your picture Tony!

Norma: Thanks but I was very envious of Stephens :) . I live in what is known as Bluewater Country but there's nothing blue about the water at the moment. If I get a chance this week I'll slip down to the lake and take a picture of what our beach looks like - maybe I should take your blue ball to give it a bit of colour - I think I have a blue beach ball somewhere :D

yep, I loved Steven's too. :D Did you Photoshop it or did it really come out that blue?

Nancy.. cute girl but lets see if I understand this correctly. Your chair lives in front of you love seat? ;)
husbands... you can't live with them, and of course you can't live without them.

Kimi - yep - that's where it lives unless I move it back to the spot it belongs. I have hated that chair since the day he brought it home. The fabric matches but the style is totally different. The chair and loveseat are overstuffed and this is small and very tailored. Looks absolutely STUPID in that room - even when it is in it's own place - which there wasn't really room for it in the room to begin with.

Ellen: Nice poodle! I think I can explain why your camera got confused and the noisy wall (although it doesn't look too bad to me). Don't know what camera you have but it looks like you used the on camera flash and being that close to the wall it couldn't decide whether you were taking a picture of the wall or the poodle (cameras aren't too bright :) ). Flash output falls off rapidly with distance so if it puts out enough flash for the poodle the wall will be underexposed as in the picture you posted, if it puts out more light to expose the wall properly then the poodle will be overexposed and will look wrong. Depends on your camera how you can get round this but one way, if you can, would be to shoot from further away (so from the cameras perspective there's less difference between the wall and the poodle).

It is nice to get back to participating in this thread.
Bill - I love your image - very nicely done
Tony - Nice shot - that house looks like one my husband's son owned but sadly the historic upkeep was too expensive so they ended up taking it down and rebuilding!!!
Steven - Very pretty - you were down at a west coast beach while I was up in the west coast mountains
Norma - I used one of those balls this morning at the gym
Kimi - It is because you are looking at the inside of your computer all the time - and you do such a good job with everything you attempt.
Nancy - Cute photo. I have a friend that goes through the same thing with her husband and it drives her nuts and worse when she is not in a good mood!
Suzi - I love both your photos but especially the wine jacket
Kim - those are great shots just as they are. I know it is fun to fool around with filters or whatever but I love simple when possible.
Ellen - Looks good
Eddie - Nice shot. I know how horrible that flu is - I had a long bout of it. Hope you are feeling better now.
Rusty - Very artistic
Andy - A good shot and everything is blue - I wonder why.
That's all folks....

I thought maybe you had them stashed in the snow around your route, to make your "walk" a little more relaxing.:D

We've got a lot of good entries so far!
Tony - Brrr. I like the crispness of #1, but #2 is my favorite. It even has beads of moisture on it. Perfect ....
Steven - Beautiful scene with many different shades of blue. I like the single cormorant on the piling.
Norma - Nice job with concentric circles ... postioning them off center really highlights the image.
Kimi - Don't you just love the extrude filter?? Nice job!!
Nancy - Wow ... blue shirt is right. Sorry about the thing with the chair. Sounds like something I'd do. It's a guy thing ... we just don't know any better.:o
Suzi - I like both of them! The wine jacket really has some brilliant colors and you captured them well. Blue frames too!
Kim - Good timing. The blue shows very nicely against the silhoutted trees.
Ellen - That really would have worked for 'retro'! Nice find.
Eddie - Nice, rich blues! Hope you're feeling better soon.
Rusty - Very nice image. It looks like the rooster is trying to figure out who the heck drank his wine.
Andy - No wonder I can't find anything blue ... you cornered the market!! Nice collection and arrangement of items ... and a nice crisp photo.
Shari - Beautiful scenery!! I didn't know you had a Diamond Head in BC too.
Es - Very nice photo and you did a great job on the gradient background.
Debra - I imagined someone would do blue jeans, but I never thought about accenting the curving pocket lines. Very nice!!
Ron - Brrr also. That's a fun image ... I don't suppose there's any chance your pooch's name is Blue????
Fun stuff everyone ... still plenty of time for others to join Gary and me bringing up the rear.

I can just see the headlines - PMS enraged wife kills husband and then chops up his chair. :D
Bill - I think you're right - it is a guy thing. His dad had a chair too that he insisted on moving every time he sat in it. I'd be happy to rearrange the room and put the stupid thing there except the TV is built in and there's no other spot big enough for the loveseat. Course too much more with this stupid chair and there ain't no lovin' gonna be going on in the loveseat anyway!:D :D
