Karen, I just noticed that in the gallery. What a great effect! :)

I, too, would like to know how it was created!

Oh boy.....
I don't mind sharing at all, but my efforts are more trial and error then anything concrete.
Initially I was trying to do some hand tinting to combine the picture of the wall and another element, the boat. It wasn't going like I thought it should, so I abandoned the original thought and just tried to get the boat to fit in.
Basically I opened my stock image of the wall, then I opened the boat picture. Set my workspace to cascade so that both pictures were visible. Then with the boat picture active I chose the move tool and dragged it into the wall portion. Used Ctrl+T and held down the shift key,to grab a corner of the boat picture to size to fit the wall section. From the Blend modes in the Layers palette I chose Hard Light. That allowed the wall texture to show through. Then I grabbed the eraser tool and erased overspill on the surrounding wall edges.

Hope that makes sense. It's not from the lack of wanting to share, it's from the lack of knowledge in explaining and actually knowing what I did.:o

I'm not totally satisfied with the outcome, somethings missing. I just haven't decided what yet.:D
