Today was really nice in Milwaukee. You couldn't look at the sky without grabbing for a camera. I put 2 images in my gallery - both of pictures taken this morning.

This part of town is pretty neat. It is a joy to look at the line up of buildings, about half pre-1900, and "not see a theme"!!

We went to Usingers sausage shop (established 1880) and then stopped at several other places between our car and Usingers. When we went into a cheese shop, I laughed out loud. I attach a single image...

Yeah, I know that California has happy cows. But, in Wisconsin, even the cows are cheeseheads. :D

PS - the building with the green awnings is the "Have a Nice Day Cafe" :)

Rustym nice shots. Love the cows. There are several towns in Michigan that still have to old building too. I love driving through them and see all the old buildings and shops. Holland and Grand Haven has areas that look like they are from an old 40 or 50's movie with the little soda shops and vintage stores and such and it is so nice.

Rusty,

Wonderful montages of your city, love the cows. You know I can't quite imagine a river frozen over . . .

Karen :)
