Image of the Week/Editor's Choice - 1/22/07

It should come as no surprise who got Image of the Week -- Simone is on quite a run having had several Editor's Choice selections in recent weeks.

I really like the painting effect many of you have been playing with -- as is evident by the Editor's Choice selections. Nice work everyone!

Thanks everyone - just saw this. I have to thank Mary (Sleevetugger) for my image - she got me started on the buzz. That particular image was very lightly done. I have to thank everyone on this forum for the inspiration you give me. Since I have been feeling a bit better and back to the computer I have spent two straight days here!!!

Karen, I too love your image of the boats taken from above. I dwelled on it for quite a while! It is just so lovely. Very subtle, so serene, and wonderfully done in elements so as not to overpower the image itself. Just great, as are ALL the others. There is so much skill here, and helpfulness and support; it is so great to be part of this website community! I learn so much each time I visit. :)
